Hello! My name is Jessie and I am the founder, designer, and hand-painter of Modern Blocks. When my first son Maxwell (pictured above) was born, I searched high and low for unique milestone age blocks to document the stages of his fast-growing life. I wanted something with modern designs and baby safe. Unable to find exactly what I was looking for, I decided to create them myself!  Once they were complete the idea was born to make these for others out there in search of what I was looking for: uniquely designed blocks made of the finest materials, baby-safe, and made in the United States.  I currently reside in San Francisco with my husband and two boys, loving every second of this amazing opportunity to express my creativity and create unique and wonderful blocks for others.
